Charlie Rudolph
Camp Director
Charlie Rudolph has been part of the KOSC family since she was a young camper herself. Over the years, she has grown through nearly every role at camp — from camper, to Counselor-in-Training (CIT), to camp counselor and instructor — giving her a deep understanding of the KOSC experience and community.
Charlie holds degrees in Child Psychology and Business and brings both leadership and compassion to her role as Camp Director. She is an avid outdoorswoman with hunting experience across multiple states and in Africa, and has completed rifle marksmanship certification through Gunsite Academy as well as NRA training.
Most importantly, Charlie believes camp is about far more than outdoor skills. She understands the importance of building meaningful relationships with campers, creating a safe and supportive environment, and serving as a positive role model and mentor for the next generation of outdoor leaders.
Karlee Jackson
Camp Registration, Photographer, Social Media Manager, Website Designer/Manager, etc.
Karlee works with KOSC as an independent contractor, lending her skills in social media, website management, graphic design, photography, registration, and parent communication to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.Camp has been part of Karlee’s life for as long as she can remember — and that’s not just a figure of speech. As one of KOSC Founder Judy Oswald’s grandchildren, she grew up at camp, eventually found her way back as a volunteer, and never really left. These days she channels that lifelong love into the work she does for KOSC professionally, bringing both personal history and genuine passion to everything she touches.
Karlee holds a degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Media Production and a minor in Studio Art from Humboldt State University — a combination that turned out to be a perfect fit for the creative, community-driven work KOSC needed. Over the past four to five years in her professional role, she has supported everything from registration and scholarship coordination to marketing, family communication, and camp media, all while becoming a familiar and trusted face to many KOSC families.
When she’s not juggling camp logistics, Karlee is busy raising her very energetic two-year-old boy (who may or may not be a future camper). She feels incredibly lucky to do work that matters to her — helping families feel welcomed and cared for, and making sure camp stays the kind of place where kids can have big adventures and make memories that stick. Knowing firsthand just how much camp can shape a childhood, she brings a little extra heart to everything she does.

Hello i’m Stevie & and I am the oldest of 4 kids, my siblings are the best! I love my family, reading and just about anything to do with the outdoors.

Madison Rudolph
Hey i’m Madison I am a CNC Milling operator and graphic designer in Emeryville, CA. Blessed to come from a big family of hunters, my siblings and I got started young in our hunters safety and love for the outdoors.
I had KOSC written in my summer calendar every year from the moment I was old enough, till the moment I graduated high school, and left for college. Now that i am back as a counselor it is my goal to spark this same excitement in future campers!
CJ Weseloh
Hi I’m CJ! I was born and raised in CA and currently a student at Texas Christian University (Go Frogs!). I was introduced to hunting from a very early age and it has become one of my passions ever since going on my first hunt. You can always find me outside whether it is hunting, fishing, or going on a hike.
I love working at KOSC, helping kids to understand the beauty of the outdoors and expand their horizon into the hunting world.
KOSC prides themselves on providing top-level instruction. All KOSC staff are CPR and First Aid certified.
KOSC’s instructors have extensive knowledge regarding all types of hunter safety. All KOSC instructor’s are certified & have been through high levels of training with multiple non-governmental organizations (NGO’s). Such as the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), Ducks Unlimited, Sportsman’s Alliance, and more.
These instructors are taught how to carefully and properly teach campers safe hunting skills and they ensure all campers are safe & secure at camp. All KOSC instructors strive to make sure the kids are secure, skilled, and successful while hunting, and KOSC is proud to have a clean safety record for all of its history.
