Beginner Camp

About Beginner Camp

Campers will take the Hunters Education Course, and if they pass the test at the end of the week they will earn their Hunters Education Certificate. They will learn the material through lessons and presentations in the classroom, but even more importantly, through hands on experience on the range. The kids will have the opportunity to shoot archery, rifles, and shotguns all while applying the knowledge of equipment and safety that they learned in the classroom. It is much easier to learn the material when kids get to experience everything they are learning first hand. The kids will also have the opportunity to learn how to fish! In the down time, they will be able to swim, play sports, cornhole and card games. This is a great opportunity for youth to obtain their hunters education certificate, receive high level instruction from our top-notch instructors all while learning how to safely and successfully shoot archery, rifles, and shotguns. Our goal is to get the next generation involved in the outdoors and expose them to as many different elements of the outdoors as possible. We strive to put out safe, knowledgeable, responsible, and ethical hunters into the outdoor community. Beginner Camp is designed for campers ages 9-16.
